Noticed a "guns banned" sign at the Gallatin BWW last week so here's a question. If they were being robbed would the police just sit outside and wait? you know, since they aren't allowed to carry guns in the building. Hmmmmmm.

As long as you're not drinking, it's legal to carry in bars and restaurants that have not posted.

When they finally passed the CC law in Wisconsin, BW3's was one of the first businesses to put out thier "no guns" sticker. We saw it stopping in for lunch with a bunch of co-workers. When the manager came by and asked us how our meal was we told him it was good, but our last. As long as that sign was up, we would no longer eat there nor would we bring any customers to lunch there. It would cost him about $5000 in sales a year.

I don't think we were the only ones to say that. But with that and the liability clause(if a business posts the no carry signage, they become liable for any violent crime commited on thier property) in WI's CC law, the sigh was down less than a month later.

I have seen various cards that 2nd Amendment supporters can leave at businesses who have no gun policies. Here's a couple:

I keep seeing stuff on the internet about B-Dub's gun ban, but none of the stores I have been to in Memphis have the same ban. I wonder if it's a local franchisee issue. I ran into the same crap with Chick Fil A last year, and after a number of well placed emails, the policy changed back to normal. The local franchise owner was "counseled" by the parent company.

It isn't going to affect my appetite one bit. I may not agree with it totally but it's their establishment. If I owned my own restaurant I would make my own rules and adjust if necessary. I don't think losing a few customers will phase some of the larger chains out there.
