Okay....this is difficult as I am not there to look at it, but I did call Easton just to make sure what I'm about to tell was correct. More than likely, if you can't even get a FP in there the insert was installed incorrectly, or not enough cure time for the epoxy/glue was given and it caused the insert to end up being either too far forward or backward. Either way, I would take it back to whomever did the arrows for you and have them correct it.

didn't make it this evening. had church! It would be bad for me not to be there since I'm the pastor.. I will go tomorrow and report back to everyone for clarity of this mystery.

OK guy's, heres the verdict. Be careful who you let put the epoxy inserts in. There was an abundance of glue built up in the inside of the shaft causing the opening and the threads to be obstructed. I suppose the glue had dried clear and I could not see it. Anyway, the tips are in and the arrows shoot like a dart and hit like a ton. Pretty impressive. I understand the aluminum shell in not as duralble as true carbon and they can bend, but they perform great off the shelf.
