Hey guys,
Squirrel season is winding down quick and I am ill prepared to start working on recipes for the World Squirrel Cookoff in September. If you can get out this weekend , nab some squirrels and freeze them, maybe we can meet up sometime this Spring?
I'm out in Fayette and Haywood counties somewhat frequently as well.
sooo..... Your saying you know how to cook 'em but not so good at killin 'em  -had a few rough days this Winter and didn't see any squirrels. I do have a few in the freezer, but I have a lot of test cooking to do.

This thread is music to my ears. My son has been wanting to go again, but I don't like cleaning them or cooking them. My club in Fayette County is full of them. If he wants to go Saturday instead of fishing I will hook you up. I would prefer to deliver them fresh though. If it was going to be good and cold Saturday it would be a no brainer.
