I find EVERYTHING other than deer sheds LOL

Took a hike in the woods today on property that I used to walk on when I was a young kid, but haven't in a long time. Didn't find any deer sheds, but I did find what was left of an old Ford pickup truck, rusted down to almost nothing, but the words FORD could clearly be seen. Also found this opossum skull, still with all 50 teeth, so atleast i found something to take home.

Cool finds though!

I once was doing the same thing and had a coon limp past me with a trap still attached to his foot. I killed him and the trap had name and number on it. Called to return it, and he last remembered setting that trap on his own property around 10 miles away.

Cool find. I always back off shooting coyotes and cats during deer hunting season because my rifle does too much damage to them. I've been thinking I'd like to have a couple of skull mounts of each so the damage wouldn't be a problem. They better watch out for e this Fall.

Thats what ive been thinking, Ive always wanted a full coyote mount, and I've killed one but it was with a 30-06, so full mount was gone. Wish I would have kept the skull though. Just gotta go find me another one.

Ha!! Yep they built the name tough anyway hahaha.

10 miles, that's a long way to go, that coon may have heard you coming as wanted you to kill him.

I have a few skulls around here, that I've either found or killed. And one gave to me: coon, this opossum, red fox, bobcat, even snapping turtle (actually a gift), and a small buck (gave to me by my uncle this week). This year I too would like a coyote!

Haha yeah it was ridiculous. I was amazed when he said it was that far. Especially with that dang trap! Turned out to be a pretty cool older fellow that I stayed in contact with till he passed away.

I'm gonna try to get my skull collection up this year. I just have a coon.

Thought about a squirrel skull, just because my fiance says I'd hang anything on the wall since its been so long since I've killed a good trophy.
