Anyone have a favorite? Shooting a 700 with 1 and 10" twist and 24" barrel.

Mine is the old faithful 57gr of IMR4350 below a 165gr Hornady SP/IL flat base. I shoot 1" groups out of an old Remington 760.

Browning A-Bolt 60 grains of IMR4350 behind a 150 grain Nosler partition, R-P brass, Fed 210M primer. sub one inch, 3017 FPS. This load is over max in all published reload manuals. I don't have my COL at hand but it is .008 off the lands. I see some overpressure...cratered primer but that's it.

Thanks for the info. Before I waste alot of money trying to work up a load...seems the 165gr pills are the most popular. Would this be a good place to start with the 1 in 10" twist?

I don't know how my 06 is twisted, but the 165 gr weight is pretty much middle of the road of the popular bullet weights. IMO if an 06 can't shoot a 165 gr pill, then I don't want it.
