maybe in the market for one, anyone know where to find out for a good deal? I know you can find them on Opticsplanet and Midway for $249 but hope to find one for less then that.

Assuming you want the one with the picatinny mount and 8 MOA dot, then this is probably the best price you'll find new. I was a little skeptical when I first found this website, but I checked into them and bought a rifle scope from them last year. The transaction went fine.

well i am going with a 3MOA for sure as that is what my old Mueller Quick Shot was and i liked the look of it.
still let me know if anyone knows where to get one for a good deal.

Gotcha and thanks for the explanation. I like the size of the scope and seems like it would be easy to get on target. My only concern would be forgetting to turn it on or the battery be dead. Do they have a battery life indicator?

The ffiii has a low battery warning light and an 8 hour auto shut off. I had the mueller for 3 years and never left it on though. You get in the habit of checking.
