I have cleaned a bunch of drum and they have the same bone's as a bass or crappie. Filet each side, take rib bones out= pure meat with no bones. Make sure to take out EVERY bit of red and you will have a fair piece of fish. Cut thin and eat hot and most people will never know they just ate drum.

I have never eaten a bass, and don't plan to. I'm not a catfish fan, but done right it's ok. I have had striper before, and it was ok fried.

Pretty much any fish other than "rough fish". Don't care much for the taste of carp, buffalo, etc. not a big fan of catfish either, anything else goes in the freezer.

Man haven't yall read the US Fish and Wildlife report stating that Largemouth and Smouthmouth contain so much mercury that you can get poisoned for just eating 1 or 2?

Now Crappie. Loves me some Crappie.

Walleye is #1 for freshwater followed by sauger, bream, bass, crappie and catfish. I most often bring home bream though. Usually just catch and release.
