Came up to a 4-4 tie in committee today, Sen.s Lowe Finney, Brian Kelsey, Doug Overby and John Stevens voted against the bill...
I've read the bill, haven't had time to think it through. However, as a fellow Maryvillian I'd like to know why Doug Overby voted against the bill. I just asked him. We'll see what he says.

No, Haslam and Ramsey have decided that they will not allow this in Tennessee. Might get in the way of picking up a Federal Grant. Haslam has a record to protect, Obama thinks he is the "Best" Republican Governor out there, can't do or allow anything to besmirch that opinion.
Notice that Finney made the Administration declare itself, Kelsey should have fended that one off, but he did not, so now Haslam is on the record.

Stop a minute and look back at Arizona and how Obama handled them over federal law. He WILL do the same thing to Tennessee.

No reason not to believe this would not pass. But it made some look good. But heck Haslam and Ramsey got voted in and they love the Obumer so they will protect him and the Fed dollors.
