I saw the info on the TWRA web site concerning the app, but it only has a link to the web page.
Is there an actual app that can be downloaded to the phone? I couldn't find it in the Google Play store.
Thanks!

It is not an app from an app store. There should be a link on our website to download the app this morning and instructions on making an icon for your screen.

Two questions. Is previous harvest data going to included for viewing on this new app? If we purchase a license through this app will we still get a paper copy for our wallets, or will it all be online—I've heard conflicting reports on this?

The harvest diary should start with your 2013 kills and the diary will hold the data for three years. We are hopeful that period might be able to be extended, but there are some space issues in the system.
It is my understanding that it will be just like an internet sale. If it is an annual type of license, it will be mailed to you. If it is a daily/weekly license that couldn't be mailed in time before it is used, then the transaction number suffices.
I'll have to confirm on some of these tomorrow as today is a state holiday and our IT/License Sales folks are not at Ellington.

Thanks SCN.
One more question, and sorry to pester you. Can the harvest diary accommodate multiple hunters (kids, spouse), and is it stored on the phone in case we happen to be without cell service?

Each hunter will have their own harvest diary that is accessed through their TWRA ID number. Ther will be an addition of their SSN to deal with a security issue in the near future.
I am not sure about stored on the phone to deal with the cell service issue. That is easy to get around by takin about 20 seconds and filling out a paper harvest log as a backup.

I am heading over to our officer's in-service training at TLETA in just a minute, and will not be back around a computer until later this evening.

Steve, I'm one of the 8 people on the planet with a Windows Phone. Looks like it loads good on the wife's android tablet but not my phone. Any idea what the issue may be or if the app will be available for Windows? Thanks

I'll have to check with my IT Chief tomorrow.
