I've never tried a guillotine, and I've only shot a crossbow once. That being said, here's my uneducated take... It seems like many crossbow users prefer mechanicals to broadheads. I can only assume that is to avoid planing. I've heard that the guillotine does a pretty quick nosedive - very limited range (I've heard as little as 10 yards). Granted, you won't be taking shots at long distances for turkey, but I would guess the guillotine would severely limit your range, even moreso with a crossbow. I'd love to hear from someone who has actually tried it, though.

I have heard that they are great for killing turkey if your goal is like mine to harvest the meat after the kill. But I guess they can be bad for those who want to save the beard or have theyre picture taken with a complete turkey. I have not tried them personally but have heard they do the job they advertise. I do remember reading that the blades wont clear the stirrup of some crossbows too. Please keep us updated.

strutandrut & spctbone Why would you run hunter's off? turkeyshooter only said that he had never tried a crossbow, what's wrong with that? Any hunter that uses any gun, bow or for that matter a non-hunter looking to learn should be welcome. Who cares if he hunts with a different bow than you do. We need to be "Hunters supporting Hunters"

I have but 1 comment! I hunt with all weapons, Gun, ML, Bow, Crossbow and probably a pistol this year. To say that one is harder and more of a challenge than another is NOT "HUNTERS SUPPORTING HUNTERS". Sounded to me that it was a troll who signed up just to post a contraversial post to stir [censored]! If not then by all means accept my appology, BUT THIS IS A POST ASKING ABOUT BROADHEADS FOR CROSSBOWS! NOT WHICH WAS MORE CHALLENGING OR MORE EXCITING!
