I found the drawings online. They were free. I built mine bigger and am glad I did. With 5 or 6 people sitting around the table, there is still plenty of walkway left on each side. I added the benches too. We've had several family reunions, anniversary parties, etc in it. This pic is current and I still have a few things to do. The fireplace is externally 48"X 34". The grill externally is 44"X 34". The grill surface is 36"X 24". I built a metal drip pan and used gas grill burners. A propane bottle sits under the grill. I really didn't mean to hijack this thread. I hope the info helps someone else.

I can't find a picture of the whole smoker, but I have a Backwoods Competitor. It's got the fire box down below (you can see the stainless steel door below the racks). Above the fire box is a built in water pan. Then the cooking chamber. The smoke comes up from the bottom through the walls of the cooker and inside the top of the cooking chamber. The smoke fills the cooking chamber and exits out just above the water pan into a smoke stack. I can load this with lump coal and splits of wood and not touch it for 8-10 hours. It's a great smoker.

Here it is loaded with some ribs someone ordered from me (and trimmings).

Thanks BigAl. I hope someone is inspired to build one too. My wife always wanted one. When I built the house behind it in my back yard for my inlaws, I went ahead and set the posts and poured the pad along with their breezeway and garage pads. (48 yards of concrete) After I finished the house, I put the roof on the shed and built the fireplace from a pile of bricks that I moved around the yard 3 times over the last 15 years. The shed sits between the houses.
For anyone interested in building the fireplace grill, there is a 5 video series on youtube that I got ideas from. It really wasn't very difficult.
