I hit them at Nickajack several years ago. Caught a cooler full in about an hour. Best I have ever done on them. I went to Loudon twice in the last few weeks and the flood gates were all open. I was afraid to put my boat in just too dangerous. I tried Melton Hill from the walk with no luck at all.

Someone else has already mentioned it, but give it about another month or so, and they will be stacked up from the forks of the river all the way up both the french broad and the holston. I used to catch'em till my arms were sore while up there fishing for white bass. Small chartreuse or white grubs/ roostertails or minnow on a split shot will catch all you need.
