i was going to get a bbly for one of my NEF but really wanted a bolt action and there is only one choice for me rem 700
and since i am in knoxville every other weekend i would be close to get it
just wanted something to play with to shoot varmints and the occasional deer ... just to upset the masses

i just have a thing againt barnes bullets i know they work i just get better accuracy from nosler
i love the 60 partition i love the bergers in my 7 saum may try some
im not sure what twist the rifle is

Your rate of twist should be 1 in 12 on that 700 I do believe. At least that is what mine is.

folks cant kill a deer with a 22 cf are usually the same ones that loose them with a 7mm mag
i will kill at least 10 with it this year no problem
60 gn partition and i have some 53 gn barnes as well
