Anyone know of a company that works on septic tanks in the Bradley Co area?

I had a friend bring out a skid steer about a month ago to level out an area for a greenhouse. And I thought I was having him avoid where the septic was but ever since then, part of my yard has been soggy.

Well after having company over - its definitely the septic tank. The spot is bigger, soggier, and stinkier.

I'm hoping its just a drain pipe issue. Nothing is backing up in the house or anything.

it would have definitely been my fault.. I thought I was steering him clear.. guess not

I just moved into this house about 7 months ago. However, the guy I bought it from said that he did the same thing and had the lines changed out to gravel less(?) ones.

There are ruts in the yard where the skid steer went.. and they are right by the soggy area.

Definitely sounds like he mashed it closed. A skid steer isnt that heavy so your line must be shallow and the ground is soggy. You could probably dig it with a shovel and replace that small section real cheap but it would be a stinky job. Good luck

Just throwing this by yall. I had someone come out and look at my yard. As we were trying to find the septic tank location (I only know the general area) he was putting a rod in the ground. In a couple locations he jammed the rod in the ground and you could hear a pressure release followed by a mini geyser of pure brown gold.

The guy said that it would be best to replace the field lines because there is no telling how many spots are damaged.

It looks like I can get it all replaced (minus the tank which is still good hopefully) for under $3k.

That sound like a fair price?

You might shop around and get a better deal, dirt work is slow this time of year. Always a good idea to get a couple of bids on any contract work. Id make sure that whoever did it planned on doing the finish work on your yard afterwards.
