I could learn a thing or two from KVD... if I could pick one person, off the top of my head, it would be Richard Simms.
I figured he was to busy filming sweat into the oldies 2?

Doug Stange, Al or Ron Lindner all around awesome fisherman. Yeah deffinatly Stange,he fishes the best places at the best times of year. Not putting him down, wish I could.
You know, it takes time on the water to pull in good fish 90% of the time out. You, me and other posters on here can catch fish most of the time, and are "good" fisherman. Then there are people who go out, even in mine or your boat , that can fish the same lure and where/how you tell them and not get a hit. Then there are guys like Stange, born with talent and has put time in at so many different venues, to become top notch. Whether it be walleye, stripers, crappie or smallmouth you name it he seems to be all on them.

1st Choice - Ruger, in his new boat (provided Man was our guide)
2nd Choice - Larry Dahlberg (Hunt for Big Fish)
3rd Choice - Bill Dance (provided he takes me to his private Florida lakes where every bass weighs five-pounds-plus)
My feelings are officially hurt. Last time I let you pose with my fish; never again.

Bill Dance Adrian Smith from Iron Maiden. Not only is he a guitar player, he's an angler as well!

He is dead now, but I would live to know a fraction of what he knew about Dale Hollow smallmouth.

I'll second Iaconelli and Dance
I would like to take Iaconelli fishing for a day. I would learn as much as I could from him, and then hold his head under water until he stopped kicking. Without a doubt he MOST ANNOYING pro fisherman out there. But he can fish.

I have fished with some if the best there is or was when I fished the Redman and the BASS as a non boater. Fished with Denny, Clunn, Fritts, Fish Fishburn, and tons of others. What makes those guys stand out to me is they were as open and friendly and helpful as they could be and still be in it to win it. I never got to fish with KVD would have loved to. If I could I'd give anything to fish with my dad one more time. He knew more about catching crappie than anyone I have ever seen.
