It wasn't pretty but it's in the "W" column.
The difference I see in this year's team from those in the past is that they didn't start off ranked. They had to earn it. Any time you have to work for something as opposed to having it handed to you you tend to hold it closer. I hope they continue.

I hope they continue to do well. I admire Coach Pastner and believe he is the best thing to hit the Tigers in quite awhile.
Plus, Calipari is unranked, which just tickles me no end. The Vols put such a whipping on them last night that at least to me it showed how the one and done has some serious downsides.

Lot harder to be ranked and stay there as to being unranked and work your way up. Everbody gunning for the ranked team.Easier to sneak up on em when you are an unknowned.
Still glad to see Ky go down.

Tigers are on a roll, and yes, they did win, not a pretty win or a impressive win, but they did play good at times and when needed, I AM A TIGER FAN,,,,,Lived in Memphis over 40 years and still follow and support them even though I am now in Mid TN,
As for UK not being ranked, They were ranked 25 when they lost to THE VOLS, but the VOLS were not ranked.
Maybe the Tigers will move up in the polls today as well, but tell me, who is going to beat UI, they are out for blood this year

I watched the game last nite. Actually recorded it and watched it later on. They looked good. I hope they do well this year. Based on the number of top seeded teams getting beat this year, I see some opportunity for a sleeper team to win the big dance.
