THIS is the strongest message these businesses can send.
Sort of a "reverse boycott", if you will.
I love it. 
I wish every single US based gun, ammunition, and accessories manufacturer would follow suit, along with an issued statement that promises to do the same to ANY state, local, or Federal government or entity that infringes on its citizens' Constitutional rights.

That's a great statement, but does anybody know how many gov't contracts Olympic currently holds? Are they really giving up anything?

This is all great and I applaud them for standing up for themselves and us.
However, unless the big boys that do the majority of work for the government stand up it'll mean little. We need S&W, Glock, Colt, ect to say the same thing.
Magpul is about the only one that is going to hurt anyone where they notice.
