I think the AR/AK prices dropping is more a function if anyone who wanted one has pretty much bought one by now, and the people who haven't, are not willing to over-pay so they will just wait.

You are correct DRM, as sales slow down at the inflated selling
prices people will start letting them go for closer to what they paid or just keep them. When the selling prices get lower people will no longer be buying new guns with the intent of flipping them for a quick profit, and they will be back on the shelf for a reasonable price. Nobody wants to be the one holding the merchandise when the bottom falls out. When Obama got in the first time ammo prices jumped and stayed high for 4-5 months and quickly lost 30 percent of its retail value over a period of 2 months then continued to settle out slightly higher than before the price jump. Dealers started dumping ammo/inflated guns like rats getting off a burning ship when prices fell to avoid having more in the ammo than what it was currently selling for. That scenario will happen soon if Obama fails to pass new legislation.
History will repeat at least I hope so.

I am wanting the ones with the LEO/Military markings on the right side magwell. Not the newer version that Walmart sales. These are getting harder to find and are more sought after.

I stopped by Gander Mtn. today and I was shocked at their prices, in a bad way. I guess I'm spoliled in Chattanooga with Sportsmans. Several of the same guns that they had in Chattanooga were $100-$200 higher, wow. The ammo was off the charts too.
