Gonna pick me up some crankbaits. All of them I have now are shallow runners, remember I have been a puddle fisher for a long time.
Planning on using some deep diving crankbaits when I go to Gibson County Lake.
What are some good ones?
I hear alot about the KVD series, but don't know which ones are best.
Thanks.

How deep are you talking? For the 10-15' range, I really like the Norman crankbaits. They come in a heck of a lot of colors too. For deeper than that, I go with the Fat Free Shad cranks.

I like the squarebill crankbaits, KVD series. but they are for shallow water.
Bomber has a new deep diving squarebill that looks really good.

My favorite is the Strike king 5xd and 6xd for deep crankbaits. Hard to beat a Norman dd22 also.

Get a good glass rod for deeper crank bait and keep your line to the 10-12 lb range

Shad Rap SR7, Bandit 200 and 300 series. For crappie after water hits 78 degrees, Bandit 200 and 300 trolled 80 ft back of boat at 1.6 MPH, 10 lb. line, deadly on crappie.

Picked up several tonight.
Got a few Norman DD22 and some NX S too. Got one Strike King XD silent series.
Picked up a few jerk baits too. They were Matzuo brand and they were on sale for like $2.99 so I got about 5 of those just to have.
Picked up some shallower running Bombers just to have some extras.
Mainly went after the deep runners though. I am covered from about 9 to 20 feet deep now.
Thanks for all the replies.
