Your incorrect sir.... Latex will not stretch in a mouth call properly pressed it will detoriate if not properly taken care of. But is should not stretch if properly built and cared for I have one mouth call built three years ago that still looks the same latex wise and sounds the same it has new tape as it had loosened but the latex is still good

For those looking to mix it up, I would suggest trying a copper pot call. I used one for the first time towards the end of last season and was blown away with the results.

For example, last season I did a little experiment. I sat on the edge of a food plot and watched a gobbler strut his stuff while surrounded by hens. I knew the chances of calling him in were slim to none, so I decided to test out a few calls.

I pulled out my slate call and could not get him to gobble. I pulled out my aluminum call and was able to get him to gobble a few times. I pulled out my copper call and it drove him crazy. He literally gobbled every time I yelped on it- sometimes double and tripe gobbles. By no means is this conclusive, but it certainly convinced me to carry a copper pot in my vest from then on.
