WHAT?!?!
The couple that was tied up by Dorner, escaped and immediately contacted authorities (identifying the vehicle Dorner was driving when the game wardens went after him) . . . . . .
they may be denied any claim to the reward money.
Why?
Because Reward Offered for Information . . . . . "leading to the identification, apprehension and conviction of Christopher Dorner."
They're saying because Dorner was killed, he wasn't apprehended and will not be convicted???!!!

It happens far more offten than most people think.
Most of the rewards are never claimed because of those very words.
Remember when Bush wanted bin Laden dead or alive? He said it for a reason.
Remember Saddems' two sons in the shoot out?? The Reward was paid because it did state taken alive or killed.

Yep. Can you imagine the outrage from the limp-wristed bleeding hearts in California if there was a public reward for Dorner "dead or alive"? If the courts out there were really for the people, they'd say it was a deliberate action and the reward must be paid. How many folks are gonna help the next time knowing they're gonna get the finger?

They never had any intentions of paying up. I told some coworkers that when they issued this.
Who's got the money and would pay up in LA?? The illegals, the Crips or Bloods? Maybe Bill Mauer??? Oh wait that's right the tax payers.

Dorner was not going to survive. There was a kill order. Maybe not official and documented, but it was in effect. If he had given up and surrendered, he would still have been killed "resisting" arrest.

At any time during the entire debacle, at least up until the time he shot the last two officers, all he had to do was call a defense attorney or a TV station and arrange for a surrender in a public place covered by live TV. He did not choose that option.
