Is it legal to sink brush, pallets, or other structure in the channel or anywhere on Old Hickory or Priest for fishing?

It is my understanding that to be legal you would have to have a permit from the ACOE for those lakes. It is not a TWRA issue.

I watched a guy make one about three weeks ago with a bunch of old christmas trees and some cinder blocks.

Permit? Didnt know that. I better let my old man know. He sinks at least 1 structure a week every week for the crappie. That would be a heavy fine if it was for each structure.
