I'm kicking around getting rid of my Mathews Z-7, it is loaded with QAD/HD rest, HHA adjustable sight, Axion matching stabilizer, and the matching Mathews T-5 quiver, also has a brand new string put on at the begining of season. What kind of money can I expect to get? Its about a $1500.00 rig. No corners have been cut rigging it out.

Honestly about 500 on the low end. Bows are not very good investments

Your better off, most of time, taking everything off and selling it piece by piece rather than as an entire package.

just checked ebay, they are selling well on there for a decent price. some are sailing past 700 with hardly any equipment on them. pretty reasurring that someone in the world wide web is paying good money for a good bow.

No offense but I disagree with some of the above. I have found some bows to not hold value very well but Mathews seems to be different. I do agree that selling piece by piece often yields more money as well. The real key is selling at the right time of year. Selling it now will probably net you a little less than if you sold it in July or August, leading upi to bow season. Won't cost you anything to list with a minimum price you need. Some people may see it as ridiculous but it may be just what someone else is looking for. Sorry for the rant but to answer your original question, depending on year model and condition, it would expect that bow and accessories to max out at $850 if you find the right buyer. Throw in a few arrows to sweeten the deal since you will probably need new ones with the new bow anyway.

One more tip: Make sure the auction ends on a weekend evening, this typically yields a higher price for you. I bought a Diamond Black Ice 2 years ago loaded out for $290. The thing was that it was a 3 day auction and ended on a weekday morning and was in the spring. I stole it. This past fall, September i believe, I sold it with a slightly upgraded rest sight and $50 for $575. I couldn't believe it. Additionally, I sold the original accessories it came with prior to selling the package. It is all about finding the right person at the right time. Set a good minimum and expect to have to list it 3 or 4 times. You will get more for it on ebay than on the classifieds here because the folks on here are pretty savvy but ebay continually amazes me with what people will pay for my old crap.
