I've fished a time or two on the Little Buffalo inside Laurel Hill WMA but only by wading. I don't know what the river is like when you get away from the parking areas at the low water bridges. Has anyone ever floated through there? Is that even possible? I was thinking about a canoe trip.

Well, catman, I'm not surprised that you never heard of it since I just noticed my typo. That's supposed to be Little Buffalo River. Oops.

oh I got the typo and know of the buffalo but had not heard of the little buffalo. If its good to wade I would probably like it.
Do you fish the duck often? I can't remember if you said you did or not. My boat will be ready to float again within a week or so and I have to put new oil in the motor, but I'd like to get out there soon.

I've fished the duck some, but not a lot. Now that you mention it, maybe it's time I got back on it.
Glad you're enjoying the boat and motor. And yes, I think you would enjoy the Little Buffalo. I've only fished it a bit for the stocked trout, but it's a nice setting in the Laurel Hill WMA. It would be a bit of a drive for you, but if you want some info on how to get there and access the river I would be glad to help.
