With a C4 and a 4.56 you'll have a ton of wheel speed at the hit. I'd go for the 4.10's or get a PG

We ran a Monza with a 400 small block, Powerglide transmission and 29 inch slick, and we ran a 488 but we did turn high RPM'S.It's been so long i can't remember exactly the rpm ( i'm wanting to think around 6800 in the 1/8 mile. We did go through a time with spinning badly, but new coil overs with the correct springs and four link took care of that. Oh the Good ole days!!!!!!

well got the pos unit out axles out axle bearings out drive shaft out ring gear mounted to spool going to press pinion bearing off at shop (work) in the am and press it on 4.56 pinion
still got to cut axle tubes and put every thing back in
good times

if that happens i will go to a 4.30 or 4.33
but im going to gamble on 4.56

Ok.....if you spun more when you put the 4:10 in you have a suspension issue. At 95 mph you should easily run high 6.90s. That c4 has a low first gear and when you installed the 4.10 you started shocking the tires on the starting line. It will be way worse with the 4.56. Ideally you need a 29x9.5 tire with that 4.56 combined with moroso trick springs/ and 90/10 drag shocks in the front to make the front end flip up and transfer weight to the rear. Best case with a good suspension and stars and planets aligned it *should* be running low 6.90s to high 6.80s. Pm me if you would like to talk more on this, id be glad to help!

I tried a 3 speed and 4.56s with 28" tires and it would absolutly blow the tires off of it at the hit. That was a 4 link car with adjustable coil overs. I changer to a 31x10.5W to stop the spinning but would drag the bumper if the air was good LoL

my 26 inch tires were 8 wide these will be 28x10.5 10 inch wide
my suspension problems are this
i have strange 10 ways on rear upr double adjustable uppers and single adjustable lca's along wit ARB
my front struts are just wore out factory i get great lift but the front end falls back quick
