I have been given a floating holiday but I have to put in the date in the morning. I'm thinking of a Friday or a Monday in archery or muzzleloader. But I don't know if the seasons are changing. My questions is with out knowing what day would you chose. I'm thinking October 14.

Depends on the time of the rut or if you want to hunt early season it's up to you. In my area I'd choose mz season and hunt w a bow. Last year the rut peaked during mz season.

The opening days will not change, they are permanent.
Deer/Archery Fourth Sat. in Sep.
Deer/Muzzleloader Third Sat. before Thanksgiving
Deer/Gun Sat. before Thanksgiving

Well I put in for the fourth as my holiday. It is replacing Next Monday which is presidents day. Never celebrated presidents day hanging from a tree. Should be fun.

You need to make it the 11th. Thanksgiving is late this year. If I am reading it correctly, mz opens on the 9th. 3 Saturdays back from the 28th. You will be bowhunting on the 4th.
