Less than 5 minutes in, he's already quoting Reagan, talking smaller gov't, pro-small business, anti-Obamacare, and just getting warmed up.
So far he's spoken more substance & truth than Obama did in over an hour.

Still telling the truth. Hammering Obama's address. Giving personal anecdotes on his parent's use of medicare, and the need to reform it.
Calling for a Balanced Budget Amendment.
Blasted Obamas "unconstitutional" attack on the 2nd Amendment.
Calling Obama's address "false choices" ...
....very awkward drink of H20......
Addressing moral breakdown of society, calls for solutions not of government, but of family, community.
Like I said, more truth than Obama spoke in his entire speech.
I like Rubio.
Is he "the One"?? No idea.
But he's given a good rebuttal.

His Republican Convention was great. Unfortunately, it was overshadowed by Eastwood's chair routine.

If he keeps from getting co-opted by Boehner and the GOP establishment, he could sew it up early. Could flat out kill the Democrats in the Latino community. He's one of them, parents are immigrants. He can speak to them AS one of them.
Could get interesting.

I hope its not him, but thier already pushing him and have been. Nothing against him myself, just think he over rated, and not what the GOP really needs. Need someone with more charisma than he has, or at least what i have seen from him. Also need someone who doesnt have the tipical GOP canidate look. He may get a few Latino vote, but i dout much. They should focus more on conservative and independent vote and the uninformed voters(dumb it down, simple)

Rubio was impressive last night. And this morning the media is already ignoring his high points yet they focus on him taking a drink of water.
The media is nothing more than the propaganda machine of the Demoncrat Party.

Watch. that glass of water will be the highlight of Satury Night Live.
If he's smart he will call SNL and try to be himself on there and drinking the water, beating them at their own game.
