Woodhaven Red Wasp would be my number 1. Have a few Cane Creek diaphragms I like too. Going to try out several other brands this year as well. Mouth calls are all I use, just what Im comfortable with.

homemade tube call is always in my shirt pocket during turkey season. I practiced with a wing bone last spring for a little while but lost it in the woods. I will be using a wing bone again this spring. Backup calls would be slate and mouth call but I much prefer the tube call because it is the first call I learned to make and use, and I am most comfortable with it and also it's more rewarding calling a bird with a call that you made. mouth call of choice is a HS. raspy old hen, but I also have a woodhaven red wasp, it's a bit too raspy for my liking, but sounds good

Your incorrect sir.... Latex will not stretch in a mouth call properly pressed it will detoriate if not properly taken care of. But is should not stretch if properly built and cared for I have one mouth call built three years ago that still looks the same latex wise and sounds the same it has new tape as it had loosened but the latex is still good

I like any HS strut Infinity latex mouth call. I am beginning to be fond of my Turpin Box Call.

A 2ft long stick about as big around as my thumb for scratching in the part about this particular call is it's one less thing to pack in my vest. I can generally find one just about anywhere I sit down. \:\)
