Congrats Mr B, looking very good there.
I taught my twins at age 13 to handload and I can tell it has helped them in other areas-like FOCUS, which most teens seem to have a problem with. Plus, the boys got bragging rights at school.

mb, I just loaded some 223 this past weekend myself, for the first time. In your experience, what differences should I expect from 25gr, to 27gr per the speer manual specs, as far as accuracy, or, is it just going to be relative to the weapon I'm using and what IT likes mostly? Using Varget btw, and Sierra 55gr bt fmj bullets.

I could never get over 25.5 grs varget in a 223 case,,it shoots lights out but you can get more speed with H335 and shoots as well,,W748 is a good powder for 50-55 gr bullets also,,
I dont load anything lighter than the 65 Sierra any more..

I've loaded test loads up to 26.5, but it is almost a compressed load looks like, with powder up to the neck. I still have yet to shoot them tho. Thanks for the info mb!
