Pissed off yet? Sorry to word the subject that way, but just wanted to share.

This is a great response to that question and many similar questions:

"At any given moment, I might not need anything except my next breath, my next meal, or a place to call home. I may not truly need more than the 640 square foot hovel that my family lived in while serving in the military overseas. My friends may not need the Cadillac's, BMW's, or Volvo's they drive. They could probably get by with a small rice burner with a 40 horsepower engine. But, this is the United States. Our national philosophy has been historically based on unalienable rights, such as the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. NOT the Marxist philosophy, "from each according to his ability, to each according to his need."

That is a good read.

The sad FACT is there are a good number of HUNTERS that ask that very same question. As long as THEIR hunting guns are safe they don't see why we NEED the AR-15's, high cap mags and anything else THEY don't want or use.

THEY say they are HUNTERS and have owned guns since they were kids but they AGREE with the anti-guners on banning anything THEY do not use.

I'm pretty sure that would be the liberals that own guns.
Proof of that would be Biden,Feinstein, obama,Christopher Dorner,ECT...... ;\)

I'm not pretty sure but instead POSITIVE there are MANY gun owners/hunters that are completely ignorant of the meaning of the 2nd Amendement. Which is very tragic when it comes to siding with the gun grabbers of the world.

And why shouldn't they be? They were educated in government schools. Historically speaking, that's how a people are used, start with children and their education. We have had the freedom to self educate so the blame is on ourselves for now.

Every time someone asks why I "need" an AR or 30 round magazine, I quickly inform them that they are asking the wrong question. Nobod asks why you "need" the First Amendment, they ask why the government has the right to LIMIT those rights. The same should hold true for the 2A... The starting assumption should be that the right exists, and I have to prove NOTHING to exercise it.

So the burden is actually on them to prove why they have the "need" and legal standing to take that right away.

We should not be on the defensive, they should be.
