I would stay with a good brand name like (compound)TenPoint, Horton, or (recurve)Excalibur, Horton?
What ever you decide to get I would stay with the 150 to 175 pound range. Just my 2.5 cents worth.

I have a Horton MAX IMPACT And that thing is very accurate.I would invest in a cocking rope, just 25.00 at BASS PRO and cuts poundage pullback in half.Really helps these worn out joints.

The only way to really muffle the crossbow noise is to wear earplugs. ;\)

Don't worry about it. It will be the last noise that deer will ever hear except maybe a YAHOOOO!!!
