Yes, and they are called TOHS. This envelope was from the DHS.
Here is the TOHS's purpose in life and that was not the return address:
The Tennessee Office of Homeland Security (TOHS) has primary responsibility and authority for directing statewide activities pertaining to the prevention of and protection from terrorist related events. This responsibility includes the development and implementation of a comprehensive and coordinated strategy to secure the state from terrorist threats and attacks. Further, TOHS serves as a liaison between federal, state and local agencies, as well as the private sector, on matters relating to the security of our state and citizens.
So does anyone have one of these envelopes they can snap a photo of and show us this sinister return address?

I got my drivers license renewal notice several weeks back and the return address on it was also the Dept of Homeland Security. I thought that was odd.
Just looked again and this is how its laid out but again this is on my drivers license renewal not HCP.
State of Tennessee
Department of Safety and Homeland Security
Nashville, TN 37243

I'm scowering the garbage for mine and will admit to not looking at the address, but there is no mistake the header was Department of Homeland Security, not TOHS.
41 minutes later, and digging through 4 bags, I can't find it.

I threw mine away a few weeks back, just kept the application.
I could care less whether it's the Federal DHS or the TN version.
A poke in the eye is till a poke in the eye.

I could care less whether it's the Federal DHS or the TN version.

Why would you care less? One is the feds, the other is the state, who might protect your information somewhat, based on state laws. After all, this is a state issued permit.
And I could be entirely wrong about this, as you have to run fingerprints and background check through the FBI to be approved for a permit in the first place. Just thought it was strange to have 2 different envelopes, one from DHS and the other to the State of TN.
