Changing from 26 inch tires to 28 will make your 410 gear act like a 380 gear.

You should be ok with 456 on a 28 if you ran 26 on a 410 it will turn a few more rpm but not a lot.

A 4:30 on 28 tires in going to act like a 4:00 in comparison to 4:10 on 26 inch tires. I would go with 4:56 unless you are currently close to overrev.

But as I was always taught about racing from the old timers, throw the tach away. If it won't take it you don't need it lol.

thats the problem
i agree 100 % with the rpms i want to turn
i run 1/8 99.9999% if i do the 4.56 i can run the 1/4 id be at about 6500
now i have turned her to 65 plenty of time i just prefer not to
now if i run 4.30 if a wild hair comes up i could run the 1/4
but i dont have a 4.30
of course i could leave the 4.10 in and with the 28 it would be similar to my 26 when i had 3.73
i have almost come to the conclusion screw it dont fear the gear i hardly ever go run the 1/4 i will prolly run the 4.56
