I would dearly love to catch a buck doing this to one of my trees with rifle in hand. I swear, I'd shoot a spike if I could. \:\) They remind me of cows - we work to produce feed and cover for them and they work hard to tear it up. I found two trees Saturday torn up by bucks rubbing that I didn't know about. One was really busted up and broke off about knee high. He tore the tubes off both of them too. One tube was completely gone. Must have hung it in his antler and run off.

I was scouting some public land this year and walked upon a duck pond that didnt get flooded this year for whatever reason. I didnt get close of enought to be 100% sure, but they had planted what looked like a row of about 30 pin oaks along the edge of this pond. A buck had walked from tree to tree just demolishing them. He only missed maybe 3 trees.
