Adjust your sights?

Doubt changing shells will change much on where you're hitting.

If you're sights are not adjustable, you may need to get some adjustable sights.

Try different ammo....

I shoot Win Supreme loads and aim at the top of the bird's head

One time I tried Federal flite control loads, hit the dirt in front of the target multiple times. Screw that

Another thing you can try (might sound nuts) but take it apart and put it back together again. Unseat/reseat the choke, forearm, barrel out/back in receiver, etc. I've seen on more than one occasion where that can significantly change point of impact.

What he said (minus the hold high). In the heat of the moment I don't want to be thinking about how high to hold over his head. This is why most turkey hunters use adjustable sights.

Red dot scope will do. Tru glo and BSA make cheap ones that actually do not tear up that easy.

Have you ran out of adjustment on the sight? I assume that's why you are asking for help.

A common problem with weaver rails on Mossberg/Mavrick shotguns is that they don't always sit exactly level to the barrel. This causes the scope/red dot tube to sit low in the back and high in the front. I fixed this problem on a slug gun with Burris rings with plastic insert rings of various thickness.

You can't do that with the TruGlo tube sight. I do remember seeing a sloped weaver rail on the internet that was thicker at one end to fix this problem. It's been years since I saw it though. You may be able to find one.

Try a faster shooting shell. Check the FPS speed on the shells you are using and try to find a faster one. That could help raise your POI.

Otherwise, put the dot on top of the birds head.
