Anybody got one of these, Baikal mp 153/ Remington spr 453 3.5" auto? I've read alot of good things about them and happened to find one at wally world today on red tag clearance for $299. Brought it home, tore it down and completely cleaned it and then outside for the test. Thing was flawless, shot everything I fed it down to the lightest thing I had with was 1oz. #8. Not one single failure to cycle as fast as I could run it. I was very impressed, because I have owned 2 other 3.5 autos that cost a whole lot more that were suppose to cycle low brass dove loads but would not reliablely. Just curious if anybodies had one for a while and what you think of them?

I have one that I got in a trade.I cut the stock down an inch and a half for kids I take hunting to shoot. The only downside is that feed button on the side which is kinda aggravating.Other than that its been a good gun.

I bought one right after Remington started putting their names on the gun. The gun worked really well for about 6 months, then it would not stop jamming. Two of my friends have one though, and they seem to work really well.

Well I hope she holds up, at around $1000 less than most of the other 3.5 "B" guns I didn't think I could go wrong.

Had one for 7 years. I LOVE it. keep your gas system adjusted for the shell loads and it will keep chucking them out.

Couple of guys I duck hunt with kid me about it but it keeps on going.

I've found that if it stops cycling shells it needs an internal cleaning and slight gas adjustment.

The one downside is that you have to buy choke tubes from Carlsons or Remington. You won't find a thread conversion at Bass Pro.

For the money- you can't beat it.

My dad has one, and it has worked flawlessly for 3 years now. I love that gun. If I found one for 299 I would buy it and sell my nova in a second.

I have had one since they were first available, 14 or so years. It has shot cases and cases of duck loads and never a problem until this year. It pushes 2 shells from the magazine from time to time as stated above. I think i resolved that problem with the plug having a rough edge and possibly getting hung on the magazine spring. Great gun for the money in my opinion.
