Oh, wow, there are so many...Like BW I like Corey Ford and Faulkner...also, Hemingway. I sometimes think I enjoy outdoor articles more than outdoor books. Articles by McMannus, Carmichael and such...and of course BW writes some good articles that I always enjoy.
I hunt alone quite a bit so I have a copy of Wilderness 911 in my backpack

The lower forty by Cory Ford The old man and the boy by Robert Ruark Really enjoyed Rugers book Bowriter has written some good short stories

Anything by Robert Hitt Niell. He is a retired mississippi farmer who writes stories about him and his family growing up and hunting.It is not books telling you how to hunt.I own every one he has published.
