Geez........I sure do miss dirty diapers, chronic crying and constantly having to watch for sharp corners.
I was at my Moms this afternoon. My nephews little boy just turned 1 today so we had a family party. Watching my nephew chase that young'en was like deja vous.

I never want to change dirty diapers again. Also, don't think I could survive my daughter's teenage years again!

Funny you should post this Ruger, I've been feeling kind of melancholy all day. Bought my youngest son his first vehicle today. I have 2 older kids, that are grown and have families of their own, but this is different somehow. I guess it's the realization that in a few short years, they will ALL be grown up. I'm torn between excitement, remembering my own first car, and sad that my babies are almost grown.
I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat.

Good times go by way quickly, but I never miss "car seats" or all the extra stuff you carry when they are little.

The anchor and I went to eat earlier tonight and the place was PACKED. There was two couples, the women's mother and one set had a son about 9 or so I would guess. The other had a girl that was probably 9 months old or so. From what I could gather the mother of the two women was not happy with pretty much anything. One husband sent his food back and said he didn't want anything. The mother with the baby had to hold her the whole time and I could tell she was on the verge of losing it. The baby was crying and she didn't bring a bottle (rookie mistake) and then I looked over and the mother of the older boy had a grilled cheese and she was cutting the crust off it. I looked at the wife and said, you ever done that? Classic Little Man right there. That and chicken nuggets was all he would eat for a few years. LOL Sigh.... kinda wish he was still that age.
Reasons why we've always tried (sometimes overly hard) to ensure TAFKAP Jr. behaved himself in a restaurant. We've been lucky not to be discussed on an internet forum But he's a good kid, and is about the least picky eater I know of. Plus, he behaves himself well in a restaurant.
