I wish I had mine darker than legal. It used to be 20% and was much better than the current 35%. I had 20% on my last vehicle and loved it. Didn't realize how much I liked it until I got rid of it. Best thing is, the guy did it for $60 cash. He used the 3M tint (good stuff) and did an excellent job. He also helped me out when inspection time came. Was curious if any decent places around here would even do 20% since it's past the legal limit. yep. Most will for cash no receipt.

Both my sons have their windows tinted. Don't know the #, but both are well beyond the legal limit. My oldest son just got a $300+ ticket in north Mississippi. No warning whatsoever. The youngest has received a warning, but that was in tennessee.

My last two rides have been and my new one is about to be. Not sure how dark I will go this time,my old eyes don't like it at night but my arse loves it on hot summer days. I think most will do it, mine always makes me sign a waiver.

A law past in Nashville on the 1st of the year that it is illegal too have anything above 35% all the way including extended cab and rear windows. So I just had my tint guy date it for last November on the receipt. If you just ask most will do it for you.

Isn't most factory tint on the rear darker than that?

I got windows so dark you need a flash light to see me. Ok,ok, so I broke out the old school rap. But yes, 5 percent on all windows except my drivers side and then 4inch vinyl on top of front window. No problems, well except backing up at night.

My back doors and back glass on my truck are factory tinted glass so I just matched the front. Next time I'll tint the back ones too and put 20% on the front. Places will do it if you pay cash and no receipt.

My wife had one of her vehicles tinted. I hated it! During the day, it was'nt too bad, it cut down on the glare. But I really hated it at night, I could'nt see well.
My truck has the standard factory tint. I can always wear sunglasses if I need to.
