Anyone here have their windows tinted past the legal limit? Do you get any trouble for it?
In North Carolina, that was part of the state inspection. My windows were too dark to pass and I had to take my car to a "friend" to get my inspection passed. (I no longer have that vehicle)
My windows are currently the factory tint. I would like to go just a little beyond the legal limit - nothing extremely dark. Mainly because my truck doesn't fit in the garage and it sits in the sun all day. With black interior, it gets really hot in the summer.

About one third of the vehicles on the road are darker than the legal limit.

I wish I had mine darker than legal. It used to be 20% and was much better than the current 35%.
