I got an email from Christine Saturday.. Nope, he still won't read it. He's still obviously coping with a continuous 5 yr roller coaster of change + he's very soft hearted and after my basically reading it to him last year he knows enough to know he'd be upset reading it. I'm printing it later today, placing in a few places in his room.. He really needs to read it ...as he'll definitely be able to relate to it..

I went back today and read the letter again.WOW! Go much honesty, insight, and encouragement to those who are hurting following the loss, injury, or illness of someone close to your heart. Like Ferg, and Stalkhunter, and several others on here, I too loss a child to a MVA. Shannon was only 20 when he passed away in 2002 following a head-on collision, and our wounded hearts still bleeds at times. But as Christine said numerous times in her letter, God will strengthen and sustains us in our darkest hours if he will only allow Him to. I'm excited beyond measure at Matthew's recovery and his steady progress toward being made whole. To God be the glory!!!!
