Did I read it right that there was something that prevented the parks' name from being changed?
If so, then the Council needs to move on to something else. They should move on to something else anyway, like not destroying the school system.
Now that's a novel idea!

We need something to help drive up our propery value in the outlying counties around Memphis. It used to be everytime ex-mayor Willie Herenton opened his mouth it was a mad dive out of shelby county. Maybe this nonsense will help us out again. Memphis has a lot more problems they need to address then parks. I say give them all a handful of crack and a .25 auto and it'll take care of itself.
