Perfect example of what you can't do.
He told detectives that he aimed to shoot the tire of a car leaving the driveway and later to scare Santos Cruz as he ran away.
The only acceptable answer to "why did you shoot" is I felt like my life was in danger, I tried to stop the threat.
I hope courts take it as easy as possible on him, but you have to be responsible.

Have to draw the line somewhere! Shooting at somebody while there running away unarmed, yeh he crossed that line a couple miles back! Irresponsible and lacking a little common sense if you ask me...

While I "hope" I could contain myself, I'm not sure of that. I could see shock/panic kicking in resulting from my family being threatened with a crowbar... It's too bad, IMO, that a theif has any rights
It's a shame that crooks can't be shot once caught in the act...if they could we'd have far fewer burglaries and home assaults on law abiding citizens.
