Benton Shooters had alot of powder in today, $38/lb for varget and $245 for an 8lb jug. I will never trade at Benton again. They made me mad last time and this is the final straw, I was in the process of buying a Benelli Vinci and they would not even throw in a box of shells for free, I told them to keep it and went to Sportsmans and bought one! I understand price increases but that is crazy.

They have been gouging for some time. I understand supply and demand, but it is bad business to treat loyal customers like that, especially in such a volatile industry.

So true, but I refuse give in. I have spent a lot of money with BS, no loyalty to the customer or it maybe it's just me. I really don't mind paying a little more to support small business, but loyalty goes both ways. I have to say that the salesmen are good guys, but their hands are tied.

Man that's high. I bought 1 bottle of Varget go $24 last year. Guess I should have bought a jug at that price.

I drove down to Benton's from Knoxville one time. That was all it took it for me to figure out I would never be doing it again. I have even driven by the place a few times and did not even feel the need or desire to stop in.

before the it hit the fan it was $26lb (for imr4320 anyway)

Holy crap. I'm new to the reloading stuff but I got 3 1lb cans of Unique and a can of 2400 to start loading 44s. Got it at Bass Pro and paid a little over $100. This was earlier this week.
