I have two young daughters, and my heart breaks for you and your wife right now. There is no such thing as a "minor" complication when it is your baby, and nothing that anyone can say will comfort you until everything is ok. Only the God of comfort and peace can give you strength right now, and I am praying for exactly that, in addition to your daughter's healing.

I know a couple of those NICU nurses at LBH. They're good folks. And if you ever hit the PICU, look for a big bear of a guy named Wade. He's awesome with the kids.

My daughter is 13 today and she had a few complications at the start and spent 5 or 6 days in the NICU so I know a little bit of how you feel. She was our first too. Prayers for your little angel, mom, and you.
