Seriously get the F150 and don't look back. I'm a Ford truck guy and as you know am on my 4th super duty with 1 150 squeezed in there. I like the Cummins motor but it's everything else around them that's junk. That said I was still tempted to buy one a few years ago if I could have found what I wanted but never did so I ended up another 250. So far so good other than the fuel mileage.

There was a recall on that particular failure on some of the 3rd gen. Ram trucks.

I have 6 total Dodge trucks right now and just sold another one a while back. Mileage combined on all of them are pushing 2 million miles.

I got that notice and set up an appointment and they inspected it and said it didn't need replacing. That was 10000 miles ago.

I know all trucks, cars, or whatever can have problems and this Dodge had more than its fair share. I have a file that's over one inch thick of service records excluding normal maintenance records.

I took a chance and bought a new '13 Ram outdoorsman.
I got a Tundra with 250k on it and sold my Sequoia with 150k on it to my nephew.
Neither had anything but oil changes and regular maintenance.
Sequoia was contributing to my back problems so it had to go.
LOVE my new Truck BUT 1600 miles and its in the shop getting the power steering replaced \:\(
Lord I hope this is just an anomaly and not a sign of what's yo come....
