I turned my fall/winter plots yesterday. For the first time I will be spreading lime on them before planting. My question is should I spread the lime now and then disc/plow it into the soil or wait until I've ran them over with the disc/plow once to break up the clots?

P.S. I will probably disc/plow them 2-3 times before planting.

I don't think soil texture is going to be as important as getting the lime down ASAP so it has time to get reacted into the soil.
