Just eat on Beale street. I think that is what Poser tells everyone. \:\)

Plenty of good BBQ in town and everyone has their favorite. I like Central BBQ. Nothing fancy just good Food.If your on the southeast side of town I like The commisary in Germantown.stay away from Corkey's, Tops and The Rendezvous.

You can get some good Fried Chicken at Gus's. downtown store has a good vibe to it. I don't eat out much so there will be plenty of other great recommendations I am sure to come.

Gus' Fried Chicken
Central BBQ
Payne's
Memphis BBQ Shop

My new favorite: Viet Hoa Food Market on Cleveland. Go to the meat dept in the back corner and order the BBQ. Holy crap! This stuff is amazing!

Kwik Check on Madison is a locals favorite for lunch. -great sandwiches.
Fino's on the Hill is a pretty good Italian Deli.
Slider Inn for happy hour drinking with fellow TN Deer members.

What part of town you staying in?

Another vote for Central BBQ...get the ribs or brisket and banana pudding.
