Anybody putting in for the quota hunts? I usually don't, with the occasional exception of LBL, because I have several places to hunt around home where I don't have to compete with as many hunters. But since I'm living around Memphis for school now, its a pretty long drive to most of my places, so I put in for Wolf River and Shelby Forest. They don't draw many permits for them, but its free to put in so I'll see what happens.
Anybody hunted these places?

....I put in for Wolf River and Shelby Forest. I put in for these hunts this year as well. This will be my first year applying for turkey quota hunts.
Anybody hunted these places? Never turkey hunted either, but I do know some guys who deer and turkey hunt both places.

I did the same as you guys. Sometimes it takes a priority point to draw SF. I've never turkey hunted Wolf River, although I deer hunt not that far from there sometimes.
I don't turkey hunt much, but maybe I'll get the chance to go this year.

Put in as always for Chuck Swan, I was drawn last year so this is just going through the motions to save my spot.

I put in for them this year as well because these are bonus birds.
Haven't hunted either area before though.

The results are posted for the 3 National Wildlife Refuge hunts on their prospective websites.

I put in for Shelby Forest and Wolf River this year for the first time in years. At the very least I'll start building priority points. I hunted Shelby Forest years ago but never took a bird. I think their numbers are way down but it's close to home. Same as with the deer hunting, I think they have way too much safety zone.
