jd makes a decent mower not near as good as they used to be the only series to stay away from is the 800 series I know a lot of people that have trouble out of them and I mowed on one for a few weeks all kinds of problems. like I said earier you cant go wrong with scag, Kubota, exmark, and hustler. also Dixie chopper makes a good one and jd. the new velocity deck on the scag is the best on the market you can even look it up. they are on top with exmark 2nd and the rest behind them. but I would for sure get a commercial even a used one is your best bet.
